Skip to content Healthcare institutions, commercial companies, and private healthcare professionals, as well as other legal and physical persons who, following positive regulations, perform healthcare activities in the Republic of Croatia (hereinafter referred to as: Providers of healthcare services) and who have a contract with Panthera Digital d.o.o. provide remote counseling – consultations through the online Virtual Platform DERMI provided by Panthera Digital d.o.o., to provide its users with greater accessibility to consultations in the field of medicine. The service is designed to provide a consultation service to those patients who are unable to see a doctor in person or who need such a consultation that does not require personal contact with the doctor.
The DERMI virtual platform is not intended to be a complete healthcare service or an alternative to a real clinic visit, procedure, or surgery, and there will be cases when advice provided via remote consultation will result in an appointment and further live treatment.
The DERMI virtual platform is not intended for emergency medical interventions. Do not use this Virtual Practice if you think your health problem is an emergency, and especially not if you experience a medical emergency such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke, severe abdominal pain, and similar symptoms. The user agrees, confirms, and accepts that he is aware of the fact that the Virtual platform is not intended for any type of emergency medical intervention. In case of doubt and the need to take care of any urgent medical conditions, it is recommended that you call the competent emergency service.
The DERMI virtual platform can be accessed via the website https://dermi.hr, mobile app, or other ways, whether they are owned and/or managed by Panthera Digital d.o.o.
1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These are the Terms and Conditions Provision and Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) for access and use by any person (“User”, or “You”) of the DERMI online platform through which the aforementioned services are provided through the virtual platform (collectively referred to as the “Virtual platform”) by Healthcare Providers.
By accessing or using the DERMI online platform or by clicking on a button or icon indicating that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions, you understand and agree to these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before starting to use them.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not log into the Dermi Virtual Platform, please stop using the Dermi Virtual Platform in any way, and you should not access the Virtual Platform.
These conditions are subject to change. When these Terms change, the new version will be published on the Dermi Virtual Platform website and the Dermi Virtual Platform mobile application.
The user declares under his responsibility that the information he provides is correct and is informed that the use of a false identity and the dissemination of false data may lead to civil and/or criminal prosecution and that in case of suspicion of using a false identity or using the platform with the intent to defraud, it may result in permanent by blocking the user. To avoid invalid bookings and other situations that may mislead doctors, Dermi Platform and healthcare providers may use the provided mobile number and/or email address to confirm the user’s appointment request or verify the user’s identity.
2. USE OF THE VIRTUAL PLATFORM
The Dermi virtual platform allows you to remotely consult with registered and licensed doctors of the Health Service Provider to conduct consultation services from registered activities, provide a second opinion, plan treatment, arrange treatment appointments, counseling, obtain information, advice, or any other contribution, doctor service, or healthcare providers service (collectively called “Dermi Virtual Platform Services”).
The service offered by the Dermi Virtual Platform enables users to find a doctor (collectively referred to as a “doctor”), request an appointment from a doctor, and perform a remote consultation – simultaneously providing the doctor with the possibility of remote consultation, monitoring and correction of the patient’s therapy. Thus, the Health Service Provider can be used, among other things, to access and facilitate the availability of: consultation, second opinion, treatment planning, arranging treatment appointments, counseling, and information that is specifically and individually provided and delivered to you.
The consultation provided by the Dermi Virtual Platform ensures secure remote communication between the user and the doctor, that is, the healthcare provider. In providing this service, the Dermi Virtual Platform respects all the privacy rules prescribed by the provisions on the protection of personal data. The user has accepted all provisions on the protection of personal data when creating his profile and is aware that he can read them on the publicly published link in the data protection section.
By agreeing to these terms, you also agree to the platform’s data protection terms. The data protection policy is included in these terms and conditions and is considered a part of these terms and conditions. The same rules that apply to changes and revisions to these terms also apply to changes and revisions to the data protection policy.
Neither the user nor the doctor, i.e. the healthcare provider, is allowed to record, copy, or broadcast any content or extract of the consultation content within the Dermi Virtual Platform, regardless of the means, medium, procedure, or purpose.
The User and the doctor, respectively the Health Service Provider, are informed that any violation of image rights, respect for privacy, or professional and medical confidentiality may be subject to sanctions, including criminal sanctions.
The equipment that enables access and use of the Dermi Virtual Platform service is at the user’s own expense, as well as the associated costs of electronic communication.
The parties mutually agree that, unless required by legal process, the doctor, i.e. the Health Service Provider will not disclose medical or any other information about users or a third party, to any person or entity not authorized, except in strict accordance with medical ethics and the Law on the provision of health care.
The user is invited to provide the following conditions in advance while using the services through the Dermi Virtual Platform: smartphone or computer, camera, and internet connection on his computer or smartphone. If the equipment or the conditions for the service are not met, the doctor or the Health Service Provider can terminate the consultation. If the user, while using the service of the Dermi Virtual Platform, feels negatively affected by impaired performance or quality, he is obliged to inform the Dermi Virtual Platform about this.
The doctor, that is, the health care provider who provides the Dermi Virtual Platform service, has the sole right to evaluate the suitability of the user’s remote consultation and can terminate the consultation in case the conditions for remote consultation are not met.
The Dermi virtual platform is an intermediary in the communication of a doctor, that is, a health care provider/user, and the user understands and accepts that he will be responsible for paying for the services provided to the health care provider. The User understands and accepts that the service provided by the Dermi Virtual Platform will be charged by the Healthcare Provider.
The Dermi virtual platform is not a party to the conditions between the User and the Health Service Provider but is an intermediary in the communication between the doctor and the Health Service Provider/user.
The healthcare provider is solely responsible for the service provided.
For the User to use the services through the Dermi Virtual Platform, he will have to fill out a detailed questionnaire about his illness/disease and add photos of his illness/disease. The user will also have to create a user account. The User is responsible for everything that happens with his User Account, therefore he must not allow anyone else to use it and must keep his username and password confidential.
The user has the option of choosing a premium and a basic package (the content and price of the package are visible on this website/mobile application). If the user has chosen a package that is not suitable for the treatment of a certain disease, the Dermi Virtual Platform reserves the right not to allow the user to choose that package.
The doctor or the health care provider who provides the service through the Dermi Virtual Platform has the right to assess whether he can perform a remote consultation of the user, i.e. an examination based on the completed questionnaire about the user’s illness/complaint and the attached photos. If the doctor, i.e. the health care provider, assesses that he can perform the consultation, the charge for the service is made following the price list published on this website and mobile application. If the payment is not successfully completed, the consultation is canceled. If the doctor or health care provider cannot perform the consultation for any reason, the payment is canceled.
The doctor, i.e. the health care provider, has the option to cancel the consultation at any time, in which case the collected funds will be returned to the User.
If the service is not provided to the user within seven days from the date of his request, it is considered that the service is unavailable and the consultation is canceled.
The Dermi Virtual Platform has the right to choose through its own algorithm which Healthcare Provider will provide the Dermi Virtual Platform service to the User.
The user must be at least 18 years old to use the Dermi Virtual Platform.
The services of the Dermi Virtual Platform are not included in the billing system of the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance and cannot be obtained through an HZZO referral.
3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Do not rely on electronic communication or communication through the Dermi Virtual Platform for urgent medical needs. This Virtual Platform is not designed to facilitate medical emergencies. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE, CONFIRM, AND AGREE THAT THE PLATFORM IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN ANY OF THE FOREGOING CASES AND THAT YOU MAY NOT USE THE PLATFORM IN ANY OF THE FOREGOING CASES.
The health service provider does not guarantee that remote consultation via the Virtual Platform is the best approach to advice in the field of certain diseases or indeed the appropriate method of treatment for your particular health concern or health problem. Furthermore, the Virtual Platform is not a substitute for your physician and primary care provider. You agree to contact your doctor immediately if your condition changes or your symptoms worsen. If you need emergency help, contact the nearest emergency service center immediately.
The services provided by the Health Service Provider, consultation, or consultation with doctors cannot and does not replace a visit to the clinic and a “face-to-face” consultation. We recommend and encourage you to check all the information you receive from the doctor of the service provider through the Virtual Platform. Any reliance on such information is entirely at your own risk and responsibility.
Do not disregard, avoid, or delay obtaining medical advice from your doctor or other qualified medical specialist, visited live, because of information or advice received through the Virtual Platform.
The Dermi virtual platform will try to solve any error in the system as soon as possible. The Dermi Virtual Platform will, as far as practicable, notify its users in advance of any availability restrictions due to maintenance and/or troubleshooting activities on the Virtual Platform system.
The user is informed that communication transmission systems, computer systems that provide hosting of web portals or doctors’ computers may be susceptible to malfunctions, as any other computer system. The user hereby waives all possibilities of settlement against the Dermi Virtual Platform and associated entities due to a technical failure in the use of the provided services or due to the failure to establish a consultation.
The User is informed that the Dermi Virtual Platform is not responsible for the breach of confidentiality of electronic messages or other data sent due to the User’s improper implementation of the security instructions associated with their system.
The user accepts, confirms, and agrees that the platform is made “as is”, and will not have any claims against us, or statements against the Dermi Virtual Platform. The use of the platform is at the User’s own risk.
4. SPECIAL PROHIBITIONS
In addition to other prohibitions listed in the Terms and Conditions, Users may also not use websites/mobile applications or their content:
- For any illegal purposes
- To encourage others to commit or participate in any illegal acts
- To infringe or damage the intellectual property rights of the Dermi Platform or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, damage, slander, insult, belittle, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, origin, race, age, nationality, or disability
- To transmit false or misleading information
- To transmit data (upload) or transmit viruses or malicious codes that will or may be used in a way that will affect the functionality or operation of the Service or any related websites, other websites, or the Internet
- To collect or monitor the personal information of other persons
- To send unsolicited electronic mail such as spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
- For any obscene or immoral purposes
- To disrupt or circumvent the security features of the Service or any linked websites, other websites, or the Internet
The Dermi virtual platform reserves the right to terminate the user’s use of the service or any related websites for violating any type of prohibited ways of using the platform, especially if the user makes frequent calls, which by their nature do not have the character of obtaining the information served by the platform, but have the aim excessive and malicious use of the platform to prevent regular use of the platform by other users.
Any type of malicious, unfoundedly exhausting, and disturbing calls is prohibited, which is why the Dermi Virtual Platform is authorized to temporarily exclude a user who violates special prohibitions from the possibility of accessing the Platform, for seven days.
If the user again violates the provisions of special prohibitions, the Virtual Platform Dermi is authorized to temporarily exclude a user who violates special prohibitions from the possibility of accessing the Platform, for 30 days.
If, even after the expiration of the period from the previous paragraph, it is determined that the user has again violated the provisions of special prohibitions, the Dermi Virtual Platform is authorized to permanently exclude the user from the possibility of accessing the Platform.
5. CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT
These Terms and Conditions and any business policy or operating rules set by the Dermi Virtual Platform on these websites and mobile applications or related to the services, constitute the entire contract and agreement between you and the Health Service Provider and are authoritative for your use of the service provided to you. Healthcare Provider, take precedence over any prior or existing agreements, any forms of communication, and proposals, whether written or oral, between You and Healthcare Provider (including, without limitation, any earlier versions of these Terms and Conditions ). Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions will not be interpreted to the detriment of the contractual party that drew them up.
6. CHANGES TO THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PROVISION OF SERVICES
We hereby guarantee that on this website and mobile application, you have the opportunity to review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time, while the Dermi platform reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and changes on our website and mobile application, and it is your responsibility to check our websites and mobile applications for any changes.
It is especially emphasized that your continued use of our websites and mobile applications or requesting services after the publication of any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
7. GOVERNING LAW
The provisions of the regulations valid in the Republic of Croatia as the applicable law are applied to these Terms and any separate contracts based on which services are provided to you.
